I dark matter limit

چکیده
Recent objections (Phys.Lett. B 637, 156.) to the published Zeplin I limit (Astropart. Phys 23, 444) are shown to arise from misunderstandings of the calibration data and procedure, and a misreading of the data in one of the referenced papers.

Large-Scale Structure and Dark Matter Problem
I review the observational data most relevant for large scale structure. These data determine the system of cosmological parameters: the Hubble parameter, densities of various populations of the Universe, parameters characterizing the power spectrum of matter, including the biasing parameter of galaxies relative to matter. Recent data suggest that the overall matter/energy density is approximat...
متن کاملThe Origin of Primordial Dwarf Stars and Baryonic Dark Matter
I present a scenario for the production of low mass, degenerate dwarfs of mass > 0.1M⊙ via the mechanism of Lenzuni, Chernoff & Salpeter (1992). Such objects meet the mass limit requirements for halo dark matter from microlensing surveys while circumventing the chemical evolution constraints on normal white dwarf stars. I describe methods to observationally constrain this scenario and suggest t...
متن کاملDirect and Indirect Search for Dark Matter
Direct and indirect searches for dark matter (DM) particles are discussed. The search for a diffuse signal from DM annihilation in the Milky Way is presented using the atmospheric neutrino data from Super-Kamiokande-I, -II, -III. The analysis focuses on the model independent scenario with DM particles annihilating directly into pairs of neutrinos and antineutrinos. No signal contribution is all...
متن کاملGeneralized Galilean algebras and Newtonian gravity
Article history: Received 18 October 2015 Received in revised form 25 January 2016 Accepted 17 February 2016 Available online 23 February 2016 Editor: M. Cvetič The non-relativistic versions of the generalized Poincaré algebras and generalized AdS-Lorentz algebras are obtained. These non-relativistic algebras are called, generalized Galilean algebras of type I and type II and denoted by GBn and...
متن کاملFrom Massive Gravity to Dark Matter Desity
Massive gravity previously constructed as the spin-2 quantum gauge theory is studied in the classical limit. The vector graviton field v which does not decouple in the limit of vanishing graviton mass gives rise to a modification of general relativity. The modified Schwarzschild solution contains a contribution from the v-field which can be interpreted as the dark matter mass density. ∗e-mail: ...
